    An aging population causes a shortage of workers because people are retiring at a rate faster than people are entering the workforce. This is especially apparent in corporate positions where young workers aren't experienced to fill in those jobs. An aging population is also burdening on the healthcare system where an older population is more inclined to develop chronic health problems. People are also choosing to marry later in their life, making it hard to have multiple children or even being able to conceive.
