Why were blacks denied the chance to be in combat during the early part of the Civil War?

A. Officials did not trust in them.

B. There were not enough of them.

C. They were believed to be inferior.

D. It was thought they might rebel.

    Technically both A and D are correct. George Washington believed that if you gave a slave a gun, that the slave would shoot white people. Based on this, I would say that the best answer is D. I would inform your teacher of the poor-quality of this question.
