    The ideological makeup of the US Supreme Court refers to the Chief and median justices and that are in the Supreme Court that has opposing ideologies. They were divided as liberals and conservatives. The liberals are not quite popular and are quite a few, unlike the conservatives who have been in the Supreme Court.
