Ticker symbol:
Ticker symbol is also known as the stock symbol. This symbol are normally the arrangement of characters which are mostly the letters only.
They are used to represent the securities which are listed on the stock exchange or the securities which are traded in normal public.
The example of ticker symbol is that the New York Stock exchange uses ticker symbols which is a combination of three letters only like for New York Times Co. The ticker symbol used is NYT.
