In what year did the first international colleges join the common application

The Common Application’s founding purpose was to make applying to college easier. It was in 1975 that Colgate University, Vassar University, and other private institutions that has similar admissions requirements founded a common form that students could photocopy and just mail in, rather than the usual write or type in every application.
