    American Anglicans founded the Episcopal church.

    Explanation:

    The Episcopal Church was found in 1789 in "Philadelphia". During the time of British colonial settlement in America, King or Queen of Britain used to be the head of the Church of England. As American Revolution succeeded, many Americans did not want King or queen as the head of Anglican church. These American Anglicans found Episcopal church. It was more democratic and believed in Jesus Christ. As on today, there are 1.9 million people who are members of Episcopal Church.
