    C) and D) are definitely false: It's not forgotten, as it's well described but it's not an older form of English.

    B) is correct: it's a basis for Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Italian and some other languages

    A) is partially correct. doctors and some scientists know some latin, but they don't all understand full texts in latin.
