True or false other industrial areas that continued to grow during the 1800s were in pennsylvania and massachusetts.

    That statement above is true. In fact, there was a "population boom" taken place in Pennsylvania during that time due to the rapidly increasing coal-mining industry in the state. On the other hand, textile manufacturing is common in Massachusetts most especially in the city of Lowell.
