    The early progressive politicians on civil rights:

    The administration by these 3 U. S Presidents saw intense political and social change in the American society. Progressivism began as a social movement and grew into a political movement. The early progressives also rejected Social Darwinism.

    The National Urban League (NUL) was introduced in 1910. National Urban League is a civil rights organization who mission was to enable African-Americans to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.

    Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909), William Howard Taft (1909-1913) and Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) were the main progressive U. S. Presidents.
