    Explanation:

    President taft was more committed to expansion of US foreign trade by designing policies to encourage U. S investment in the south and central America, the Caribbean and the far east. In order to implement this policy, taft used the government officials to promote sales of American product abroad which consist mainly military hardware and heavy industrial goods.
