    Albert Bacon Hall, Secretary of the Interior during president Warren G. Harding's administration took bribes from an oil company, an incident that became known as the "Teapot Dome Scandal." After an investigation begun in 1922, he was sentenced to prison in 1929.

    Charles R. Forbes, Director of the Veterans' Bureau during president Harding's administration, embezzled 2 million dollars from the Veterans' Bureau. In 1924, he was indicted and tried by a jury. In 1926, he was fined with 10,00 dollars and sentenced to serve 2 years in prison.
