How could Thomas Paine's argument have been used to convince colonists to declare independence from Great Britain?

    Thomas Paine wrote a pamphlet by the name Common sense in the year 1775 supporting the independence of the thirteen colonies from England and it was a huge hit with the people. He argued that the condition of the colonies would be way better if it had been free from British and it made a lot of sense to the people that time.
