Why did George w bush fail to convince voters to support him

George Walker Bush was a former president of the United States of America wherein he became the 43rd president of the US as he came from the Republican Party. In addition, he already failed to gather the support of the American people during his attempt to be elected in his second term because he cannot get the country's economy out of recession.
