    Answer: A law that further fueled racial antagonism.

    Explanation:

    The Plessy decision had no basis in state law but in federal law. The judge did not imply racial differences but involved physical divisions in everyday society. For example, blacks had unique places in public transportation. Even if the law did not suggest biodiversity, in practice, it was still rather insidious, and its background was based on racist principles. Whites in everyday life took precedence. This decision minimized the Negro population. In restaurants, for example, whites always got better places. The law implied racial division, but it inevitably brought with it a different treatment of African Americans and the treatment of these people as less valuable. Many public places have banned access to African-Americans. This law is contrary to democratic principles and marginalizes fundamental human rights. The law itself carried the danger of racial segregation. Intolerance among people was increasing. At its core, the code is insidious, obstructs fundamental human rights, such as freedom of movement, opinion, and is in complete contradiction to the basic postulates of a democratic society.
