The Treaty of Paris in 1763 ended the French/Indian War that has lasted Seven Years. The war with Great Britain and France, as well as their other respective allies. In the treaty, France gave up ALL of its territories in mainland North America, effectively stopping any other countries military to threaten the British colonies there.
