For listeners, on the radio, they thought Nixon had clearly won the debate again Kennedy. However, for those who watched the debate like on tv, they felt that Kennedy had won the debate.     future candidates learned that a presence in media is extremely important. not only do you have to speak well (like nixon), you must also look the part for president as well; friendly and charismatic (like Kennedy).
