What was the Holocaust, and why do you think it took so long for people to stand up to Germany and to stop the atrocities from happening?

the holocaust is a period in ww11 were the Germans killed the Jews because they didn't that they were humans and they were the cause for Germany to fall in ww1. so they put them in concentration camps or otherwise known as death camps. people really didn't know because they make sure the camps were hidden from the public eyes
