You have seen how Germany made use of natural resources, human resources, and financial resources. You have seen that the German government had leaders who created policies that supported industry. And you have seen that Germany took advantage of the innovations in business practices and manufacturing, as well. Which of these factors do you think was most important in making Germany a leading industrial power? Is there only one? Be prepared to support your opinion with facts.

    Innovation is one important factor that has made Germany a leading industrial power. Business and industry depends on a continuous cycle of demand and supply, the demand is created by adopting newer technologies and phasing out older ones while the supply of such technologies provide the impetus to industry and business to grow. Other European countries and US too was putting their resources to good use, Germany had the added burden of Treaty of Versailles which, even if diluted by Marshall plan, still burned a considerable hole in their pocket.
