    The Fugitive Slave law was not benefitting the north in the compromise of 1950.

    Explanation:

    Compromise of 1950 comprises of the five bills of separation passed in 1950 September. Though the north gained most in the compromise of 1950. It became dissatisfied because the slave trade was ended but not the term slavery. This law gained California as a new free state for the north. The Fugitive slave law is found to be most beneficial to the south. because it was guaranteed of no federal restriction of slavery that was placed on new Mexico.
