How did the fall of Constantinople in 1453 change the economy in Europe?

    It change it in a way that Ottomans from now on held more control over the silk rode which forced Europeans into face the ATlantic to find new ways to the far East but it wasn't the major factor becasue great discoveries started earlier and Ottomans closed the silk road after conquest of Hungary in 1526
