Alexander Hamilton was in favor of judicial independence, since he firmly believed that to protect the constitution and guarantee the rights and freedoms of individuals, especially those of the minority, it was essential to have an independent judicial system that would allow judges and magistrates act with greater firmness and be able to put a brake on the legislative branch in the approval of new laws.
