The only person who died in The Corps of Discovery's expedition was the Sergeant Charles Floyd.

    Explanation:

The Corps of Discovery was a United States Army's unit leaded by Captain Meriwether Lewis and Second Lieutenant William Clark.

Their principal objectives were to study plants, animal life, geography, and to find how they could economically exploit the Louisiana Purchase.

Being around 21 years old, Sergeant Charles Floyd was probably one of the youngest members of the Corps.

He died during expedition, on August 20, 1804

Modern doctors and historians believe Floyd's death was caused by a ruptured appendix.
