What were the different economic styles of both the North and the South

    If you are asking about the civil war era then i have your answer. The north was mainly based off of industry seeing as most of their soil was too rocky to grow crops in. The south contained some industry but was primarily thriving off of slavery and agriculture. The main cash crops were tobacco and cotton.

    The north was industrious, where as the south relied on agriculture.
