Answer: (D) European Union (EU) Explanation:

The European Union (EU) is a political and economic alliance of 28 member states that are found originally in Europe. The EU has emerged an internal single market through a standardised system of laws that practice in all member states in those matters, and only those matters, where members have consented to act like one.

The answer is D. The European Union is an economic and political union of european countries, and so doesn't include the U. S., NAFTA would be the equivalent for North America, but it's a less integrated and strictly economic agreement between the U. S., Canada and Mexico. Options C and E are trade agreements between asian and western countries, the U. S. is present in both of them although at the moment withdrawn from TPP. Option B is the american federal bank of foreign investments.
