How is the Texas population similar to the U. S. population as a whole? How is it different?

    In general, the Texas population is similar to the U. S. population as a whole in that it is comprised of people who appreciate freedom and privacy, but is different because it is far more homologous than that rest of the US in terms of race and religion.
