Why did europeans want to find a direct sea route to asia in the fifthtenth and sixteenth century

    During the age of exploration in the 15th and 16th centuries, Europeans began to take voyages and exploration to find a new sea route to reach Asia to gain access to the riches and wealth. Europe became depended on the luxuries good, which brought through silk road from Asia.
