    The main causes of France going from the most advanced nation in Europe to having a revolution: The French is considered as the landmark historical event in European history which lasted from 1789 to 1790s. The French revolution ended the monarchy from France. After this, Napoleon Bonaparte came to power and started absolute dictatorship wherein he ruled France with his principles and beliefs. During his dictatorship, France conquered countries in Western Europe and even beyond western Europe. With the French revolution, there was widespread trend of ending the absolute monarchies around the globe which was replaced by republic or federal republic systems.
