This device was perfected in the 1700s by Jethro Tull during the Agricultural Revolution, and ensured that plants would be grown at proper intervals and depths.

    Jethro Tull invented the worlds first farming machine - the seed drill. The machine he invented was able to drill the soil, place seeds in proper spacing and bury it at the right depth. They relied on horses to drew the drill. This allowed for agricultural technology spread in 18th century.
