How did technology impact the growth of the United States

Technology has improved constantly over the eras, we now have mobile phones, tablets, ipods, apple, android, kindle, and laptops, now game consoles like playstation and xbox, all this didn't just fall out the sky, it took time to develop and test, technology has always been inspired by older technology, that's a fact, just like each creation has a maker, it didn't just show up there, like light bulbs, Thomas Edison and his team made it, they had to learn from others or past things, like tv, those flat screens and etcs had to be made and had to be compared with the old TV's to see what needs to be improved and adjusted. Technology made more people come to the US since most technology is made here and japan as well, so the US has brought in so many people NOT just because immigrants come here for new homes but because of technology benefits as well.
