How did the Great Depression fuel the rise of dictators in Europe

In the treaty of Versailles, Germany was treated rudely as it was one-sided and insulting. Germany had to lose 13% of its land and 6 million people. Germany was also declared war criminal and had to take responsibility of all damage made by the war. Such humiliation couldn't be forgotten by German people and a feeling of vengeance was developed among them. So the people supported Hitler and violated the Paris treaty one after another.

The Great Depression fueled the rise of dictators as the majority of people were suffering from unemployment, shortage of food, etc. Due to which they got involved in military and armament. There was dissatisfaction and frustration among common people who supported the dictators as they gave the people hope and there was extreme nationality.
