Research indicates that Asian cultures pay more attention in general to information relating to context than North American cultures do.

    Yes, this is correct.

    Northern Americans tend to see things in abstract terms, apart from its context. So a person is always the same person: at school and in family.

    In many Asian Cultures people would attribute differnt qualities to the same person when at school and at home (she's hard-working at school, etc)
