How did the US change the government of Japan after World War Two

    Explanation:

    After Japan surrendered to the Allies, the U. S. A occupied it until 1952. It set up a representative democracy with a American based Constitution, like Germany, but in Japan they were able to keep the emperor and monarchy, although it had no power.
