Explain the consequences of the visual defects in long sightedness?

    The consequence of it is that you can't see things that are close to you but you can see the ones that are far away. This is the standard old man sight losing type of defect which is why most people need eyeglasses when they become really old because they can't see in front of them for things like reading.
