Loyalists were those people in American colonies who during the Revolutionary War stayed "Loyal" to Britain. Based on their faith and activities the statement which is true about them is:
"Parliament and the Crown must be obeyed as the legitimate government of the Empire"
They had their own motives, from many one could be they felt threatened by the new development and for their businesses and felt the British Crown can be a better option.
