    See the explanation section

    Explanation:

The great political ideology of Europe in the 19th century greatly influenced imperialism and colonial politics. Liberalism began to develop in the Netherlands in the period after Napoleon and succeeded in changing the political structure in the middle of the century.

The political economy of the liberals is the opposite of the politics carried out by William I. The principle held now is the principle of "no interference" in connection with that the kingdom must withdraw from all disturbances and all obstacles to individual initiative and freedom must be removed, and all assistance government for private business must be stopped.

The policy of imperialism carried out by the Dutch in Indonesia continued throughout the period 1850 to 1900. The aim was to seek profits, especially economically, from colonial lands for the Dutch industry and state income. The politics of Imperialism consists of Conservative Colonial Politics (1800-1848), Liberal Colonial Politics (1850-1870), and Ethical Politics (± 1900).
