Who was of the influential class? Spanish Indians Mestizos Spanish born Mexicans

This depends on the time, but in the beginning the most influential class were the Spaniards (when they immigrated to Mexico, they were the Spanish born Mexicans so in a way the same thing). Then their children, Mexicans of Spanish origin were more influential. Indians or Mestizos were less influential.
