    Elliptical galaxy

Elliptical galaxies are egg-shaped, composed of older, low-mass stars and because of the lack of star-making gas and dust clouds, little stars formation are occurring in them. Every elliptical are comprised of a central supermassive black hole that is related to the mass of the galaxy itself. Messier 87 is an example of the elliptical galaxy.
