How did rivers affect the location of early settlement in Georgia

    People usually settled in areas where the riverbeds were even and shallow.

    Explanation:

    Settlements were established between Savannah and Altamaha rivers and near the waters of these rivers. In order to be safe, they settle near but no that close to deeper waters.

    One of the reason that the settle in those positions was their transportation method through river waters.
