    Achilles was a super-soldier, who was dipped in to a liquid when he was a child to make him impervious to attacks. However, he was held by the ankle as he was dipped in, so that part of his body was unprotected. Paris shooting him here is what brought him down, so the answer is C

    "C. Achilles's heel is pierced by Paris's arrow " is the unlikely and tragic way in which Achilles died. This is where the phrase "achille's heel" comes from.
