If the outcome of the Civil War had been different, how would that most likely have affected China?

    Well this is not based off of fact, pure mental connection. The gold rush was in 1849 and many Chinese immigrants worked there and on the railroads. If our country wasn't in the middle of the fight for slavery, it would have probably been African Americans laboring on the railroads. This would have affected China, because the Chinese wouldn't have come over here then, and Asian's fight for equality would have been delayed.
