    Pratt Street Riots demonstration Was as a result of seccesionist war that was going on in the United States of America.

    Many demonstrators started to protests against the Union aim to fight the Confederation States of America. The demostration happens at pratt street, the protest turn violent when some of the mob began to throw stone at the soldiers. Other men were seen brandishing pistols and muskets. Someone fired a shot. The soldiers in response fire back at the mob which lead to the death of many people

    Many resident in Maryland where this incidence took place were divided in there views on the war, some supported the Union while others supported the seccesionist because they thought that every state should have the liberty to choose whether to stay in the Union or not.
