    1. The type of change that had the most impact on Southern life is on political. The failure of the Confederate States and the Civil War that happened between the South and the North changed the political system of the Southern part. Since they lost against the North in the Civil War, they had to change their desired politics to adapt to what the winning side (North) wanted.

    2. The answer is on social and political. The Southern citizens has been forced to adapt to social and political change after the North defeated them in the Civil War. The slavery and the racial segregation that was typical in the Southern life has to change.

    3. The 15th amendment (for slaves), the 19th amendment (for women), and the 26th amendment (for citizens 18 and above) are the amendments that was granted to different groups the right to vote. They needed to expand the voting rights in order to hear and know the opinions on these particular groups.
