    The Bulgarian economy was distressed before it joined the European Union. The EU gave the country lots of support and her economy got better. The issue with Bulgaria lacks investors as a result of the corruption in the system over there and a hostile environment for them. This is why they are planning on adopting a stricter fiscal policy strategy which has been neglected over the past two decades as a result of some people's selfish interests in making the economy very viable and better with more investors.
