    The correct answer should be The Greek city-states began to merge into a single Greek culture. It started with the Phillip of Macedon who started conquering all of Greece. However, he didn't finish it and the person who finished it is his son, Alexander the Great, known as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, conquerors of all history, who managed to conquer almost the entire known world at that time and came all the way to India.
