    Happened on 23 August 1942 - 2 February 1943, it was the major battle on the eastern front against the Germany to control the City of Stalingard

    It turned the tide of war because the city of Stalingard located exactly on the eastern boundaries of the Europe, which is a very advantageous location during the war
