    A. (I know this one because I'm from the Netherlands) The Dutch wanted new trading routes to for example India and so the VOC and WIC were founded.

    Explanation:

    The main idea of the Dutch was finding new ways to arrive to Asia, and thye wanted to create new merchant routes to be able to improve trade with the eastern hemisphere, they arrived to the new world with the sole idea of finding a way trhough north america and into Asia, in the way they found that fur trade was profitable and possible, so they settled near tribes that traded fur with them.
