Which two territories were a part of the French Empire after the signing of the Treaty of Paris in 1763?

    The French Empire gained the Mediterranean islands of Minorca and the Carribean Islands. During the treaty, French negotiators believed that it was best to gain these islands in order to control over the profitable sugar plantations present and its vast territories.
