The correct naswer is A. civilization began to rely on agriculture, which hunter-gatherers did not. Hunter-gatherers wer nomads, when there was no food, they would leave the place and move to the next one. Early civilizations were farmers who managed to grow their own foods so they could settle and not worry about moving to a different place.
