In a democratic government system, this is TRUE

    Explanation:

Democracy at it's core, is about the general population having the power to vote their own leaders.

In practice, this is usually done by electing local leaders who are voted to 'represent' the people from a local constituency or a State.

When these 'representatives' go to the Parliament, they are supposed to uphold the issues and problems faced by the people who elected them.

Overall, the beliefs of a nation can be clearly seen from the kind of Government they elect.
