Is it apparent that the hammurabi code is the product of a civilization?

    When analyzing the Hammurabi Code and the diversity and depth that it provides on initial legal foundations, it is clear that there was a civilization component to the development of the code. Without a society that would implement it, there would have been no inherent need.
